He had seen the world. Kenny was 18 and well traveled, a polite, respectful young man with a perspective broader than his years.
He worked alongside his mother in her businesses. He loved the gym, his friends, and his Jeep, the Blue Box. So many people are heartbroken without him.
Minutes from home.
Delray Beach is minutes north of where Kenny was killed on West Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton. Halloween night drew people across south Palm Beach County, and many were driving home in the early hours of Nov. 1. If you were on I-95 or heading south into Boca Raton around 2 a.m., please think back.
- It could have been any of us, walking or biking this road at this hour.
- The guy whose battery died.
- The one who ran out of gas.
- The girl trying to get away from a bad situation.
- Bad things don't just happen to bad people.
